About the Company

A wonderful Charity based in Chesham are looking for a super organised individual to join them on a part time permanent basis. We are looking for a Fundraising Executive to provide full support to individuals, Fundraising Groups and organisations who are Fundraising for the Charity.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to really be able to give something back, we are looking for a highly organised individual to work with the Head of Fundraising & Communications in order to:


  • Fully support individuals, Fundraising Groups and organisations who are fundraising for the charity.

  • Grow income over the next five years by actively securing funds from existing and new income streams including individuals, corporates, legacies and Trust/Foundations.

  • Ensure a varied portfolio of fundraising activities are available, including developing and organising new events.

  • Ensure donors and fundraisers are consistently and appropriately thanked.

  • Maintain relationships with third party event companies, fundraising platforms etc in order to maximise income.

  • Ensure all fundraising activities conform to regulations, legal requirements, best practice, organisational policy, branding etc and complete all necessary returns.

  • Represent the Charity at community events, to raise funds and awareness (including building new relationships with the small to medium local business community, local groups, societies and faith organisations).

  • Maintain accurate records on all fundraising activity via the Salesforce database.

  • Report back on a regular basis to the Head of Fundraising and Communications.

  • Complete ad-hoc projects/duties as and when they arise across the small team.

Requirements

Ideally we are looking for someone with Fundraising experience, although this is not essential if you can demonstrate a transferable skillset, including:


  • Highly organised, accurate and able to manage a varied workload to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a small team and with a large number of volunteers.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Knowledge of best practice/legal requirements for fundraising in the UK - ideally.

  • Full clean driving license.
