About the Role
Working within the Finance department, the job holder must be an ambitious and intelligent individual, well organised, and someone who can work independently as well as part of a growing team. Ideal opportunity for an analyst with experience looking to step up to a more senior level. The job holder must possess confidence to challenge existing processes and procedures, to identify improvements and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
The job will involve completing a variety of tasks that relate to multiple areas of the business and will require you to demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Help maintain best in class financial models that can be updated and adapted in line with company requirements.
Forecasting revenue, provision and cashflow on a unit and portfolio level.
Use technical skills to bring new automation within the Finance team, improving efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
Helping bridge Finance team with wider organisation.
Assist in budgeting and refinancing processes.
Support implementation of new MI and review current reporting methods.
Conduct reviews of current processes and propose new ideas for improvement.
Assist in the implementation of new and changing procedures.
Experience working as an Analyst (preferably in an FP&A environment).
Experience building financial models and forecasts.
Degree from a top university/college in financial field (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics) or professional qualification.
Excellent MS Office skills (particularly Excel).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Natural problem solver.
Enthusiasm for learning.
Proactive at finding solutions and tackling issues.
Self-organised, able to plan and prioritise work.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to convey complex ideas to non-technical members of staff.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
