A successful commercial construction business with a global presence, are excited to recruit for a brand-new position within their Technical Team. Whether you are looking to start or progress your career within design, this is a great opportunity for both non experienced and experienced CAD Techs, aswel as recent Graduates.

About the Role

As a CAD Technician, you will join a small team of 3 to work with the field team and clients to co-develop innovative new products. This is a busy role within the Technical Team where you will be working closely with designers, end-users and contractors in various market sectors including healthcare and pharmaceuticals.


  • Contribute and participate in all stages of a project from concept to construction.

  • Managing incoming and outgoing project drawings.

  • Assist in the development and preparation of scheme designs, detail specific project requirements and contribute to the successful implementation of projects.

  • Potentially support sales and technical team on customer visits.

  • Maintain internal technical and drawing databases.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has a passion for all things CAD, Revit and Inventor!


  • Exposure/experience to at least one of: AutodeskAutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. Full training will be given on all if required.

  • A good understanding of MS office software.

  • Good communication, interpersonal and listening skills.

  • Technical knowledge of architectural design - desirable.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Degree or equivalent level - Desirable.

  • Desirable if you have experience in architecture/construction and will be used to dealing with main contractors and architects drawings.

  • Knowledge and experience of Building Information Modelling and Revit would be an advantage - not essential.
