Management Accountant

The Role:

We are looking for a Part Qualified Accountant (either CIMA or ACCA) to join the local Accounting team. You will report to the Management Accountant and your responsibilities will include:

• Liaison with internal colleagues and departments to determine costs and margins on products;
• Monthly financial reporting to several departments (internal and external) in various tools (TM1, SEM-BCS, etc.);
• Create/optimize reporting structures/standards within the financial department (LEAN);
• Providing support to the finance management team;
• Contribute to and develop continuous improvement ideas to help develop cost accounting processes and procedures;
• Act as backup to Finance Managers;
• Development in all fields of costing and accounting;
• Providing support to the production management team;
• Month end closing including journal entry, reconciliation and inter company;
• Routine and ad hoc financial analysis;

About You:

We are looking for a Part Qualified Accountant who can:

• Willingness to work as part of a team;
• Intercultural skills;
• Eager to learn;
• At least 2 to 3 years experience in an accounting environment especially experience of cost accounting;
• Proficient in the use of computer software packages, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel ability;
• Excellent oral and written communications skills;
